I’m delighted to share that I’ve been appointed to the government’s Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee, which means I’ll get to scrutinise policy in this department each week.
The cross-party committee ensures decision-making is based on solid scientific evidence and advice and will enable me to feed in any suggestions, feedback and experiences from businesses in Ribble Valley.
I’m keen to get started and excited about the possibilities that come with this role.
