Constituency coffee mornings: Cottam

School places, roads and anti-social behaviour were on the agenda at my latest constituency coffee morning, held this time in Cottam.
We had about 30 people attend the event at Cottam Community Centre and it was great to see a real mix of people, including some children.

As with our first event, I spent time at each table, listening to residents’ concerns but also sharing a bit about what I can do as your MP.

There were some questions I could answer on the day and other, more intricate, issues that my casework team are now following up with.

It was the second time we’d done this and it’s proving a great way to get out and see as many people as possible.

The things that matter to you really did vary from my first coffee morning in Chipping, which shows just how diverse Ribble Valley is.

I’m looking forward to the next one but, as always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with my office if you need anything in the meantime. You can email maya.ellis.casework@parliament.uk or call 01254 964055.
