Charities and organisations involved in delivering services for families showcased their work to MPs during a showcase led by the Babies All-Party Parliamentary Group.
I was pleased to host the Celebration of Best Start Family Hubs as part of my role as chair of the APPG, giving parliamentarians a chance to discover what the Best Start in Life Strategy means for families in their communities.
Sharon Hodgson MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Public Health and Prevention, and Sue Robb OBE, Best Start in Life Champion, joined me to speak at the event, which brought together organisations like the 1001 Days Foundation, the Parent-Infant Foundation and the Institute of Health Visiting.
